I work for a mobile arts nonprofit in Pasadena and we’ve been working with Frank for a couple of years. Since we’re mobile we tend to move a lot, and run off limited power from a solar array. Frank’s knowledgeable, professional, fast and reliable and gets the job done for an honest price. We moved, and he helped us take our LG wall unit and reinstall it at the new site. He captured the freon and put it back in so it wouldn’t leak into the ozone when we moved (we requested he does this.) He’s also helped us troubleshoot our unit when it was pulling too much power. The AC would blow cold for a bit, and then blow hot, or pull so much power we’d drain our system. He tested the compressor found that it was pulling too many amps, and helped us replace the unit and rewire it. He’s the guy to call when others don’t know how to do it. I’ve called a bunch of places and they either don’t do wall units, don’t service a product that’s not theirs, don’t do electrical wiring, etc… Next time, I’m calling Frank first.

These past few days have been HOT! My AC stopped working today and I went into panic mode as I have a 4 month baby girl at home. I called Hybrid Air and Frank squeezed me in when a few other places would not. He found the problem in a few minutes, which was an overflow of water that caused the unit to shut down and another part needed to be replaced. He fixed the problem right away. I liked that he was clean with his work and explained what he was doing. My husband works out of state and he also called my husband and explained step-by-step what needed repair. My husband and I were very impressed with his professionalism that we had him complete a tune up, too. He’s coming back once my husband returns to fix other issues we have with our vents. We will also have him service our unit every 6 months. I’m so happy that I found him and his number is saved! My baby girl is comfortable, again.

My air conked out during one of LA’s hot spells. I run a business and temperature control is important. Frank with Hybrid Air saved the day and night! Despite my late call and his busy schedule, he got to me before the sun went down. Frank is professional, prompt, and fair. I have used him for repair, cleaning, and maintenance. I also recommended him to friends for residential and commercial jobs and they are as pleased as I am with his work. He is a true find.

My a/c stopped working last night and so I contacted Frank in a panic knowing today’s weather would be 100+ degrees. He came out early this morning on short notice and was polite and cordial (most people don’t work on Sundays). He gave me an honest assessment of what was wrong with my a/c unit and explained the problem thoroughly. Not once did I feel like he was trying to sell me on repairs that weren’t necessary. He did an awesome job fixing my unit and got it up and running again in less than an hour. If you’re looking for an honest hard working repairman to service your a/c at fair prices, it doesn’t get much better than Frank and his company. These 5 stars are seriously honest. I called Frank two days before Christmas and he came the next day. Amazing!!! After calling several companies with outrageous prices and 3-week waits, also having gotten ripped off the day before, he fixed my heat in 15 minutes. I am so grateful to him, as the other worker (without his company’s knowledge) was going to charge me over $600 with a bunch of bogus repairs.
